Celtics legend and NBA Hall of Famer Bill Russell says he's out of a Seattle-area hospital after spending the night there Friday. Russell tweeted Saturday afternoon:

TMZ first reported that Russell, 84, was rushed to the hospital by ambulance from his home in Washington state with an apparent heart issue and shortness of breath, citing law enforcement sources. A representative for Russell told TMZ on Saturday that it was due to dehydration.

Russell, an 11-time NBA champion with the Celtics and first African-American coach in a major pro sport, was also hospitalized in 2014 after collapsing at a speaking engagement in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

He attended the opener of the Celtics playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden on April 30 and got a warm reception from the crowd. And he has been tweeting about the C's as he's followed their playoff run.
