BOSTON -- Here are the Stars, Studs and Duds from Boston’s 115-104 loss to Houston.

STARS

James Harden: You can add the Boston Celtics to the list of teams James Harden has taken a blow torch to this season. On Sunday, Harden had a game-high 42 points before fouling out with 1:44 to play. He also had seven rebounds and four assists.

Kyrie Irving: It was an extremely efficient shooting night for Irving who led the Celtics with 24 points on just 7-or-10 shooting. He also had eight rebounds and six assists.

STUDS

Eric Gordon: When it wasn’t James Harden smoking the Celtics, it was Eric Gordon who scored 20 of his 32 points in the first half, finishing the game shooting 11-for-18 from the field.

Jaylen Brown: Boston made the game interesting in the fourth quarter with some timely baskets on jumpers and in transition. Brown would finish the game with 15 points and six rebounds.

Chris Paul: Still on the mend, Paul had a Chris Paul-like game as both a scorer and facilitator. He would tally a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Al Horford: He didn’t get many shot opportunities, but Horford made the ones he took count. He had 19 points on 7-for-8 shooting from the field along with six rebounds.

P.J. Tucker: He had nine points and seven rebounds, but more than anything else he made one hustle play after another to keep Houston possessions alive which proved to be huge in the Rockets win.

DUDS

Terry Rozier: It was another rough outing for Terry Rozier who scored just four points on 2-for-7 shooting from the field. Even more significant were the three consecutive free throws he missed in the fourth quarter that could have made a single-digit game.

Marcus Morris: Like Rozier, Marcus Morris had lots of problems knocking down shots once again. He missed all three of his field goal attempts and wound up going scoreless for the game.
