Celtics-Kings live stream: C's look to beat reeling Kings

The Boston Celtics are coming off back-to-back losses against the Utah Jazz and the Cleveland Cavaliers that have dropped them to 20-20.

On Friday night, they'll be hoping to avoid a third straight loss to fall below .500 once again, and on paper, they should have a good chance to beat the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings (16-24) sport one of the worst records in the NBA and have been reeling of late. They have posted a 4-13 record in their last 17 games and while they are coming off a win over the Washington Wizards, they did have a nine-game losing streak recently.

The C's easily handled a Houston Rockets team on Sunday that had lost 15 in a row. The Kings are a tougher test for them, as Sacramento did beat Boston 116-111 earlier in the season during the C's west-coast road trip, but they are beatable. Besides, the Celtics were without Kemba Walker in that contest. They'll have him on Friday night.

Walker is coming off three days of rest after sitting out the latter half of the team's back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday. He should be refreshed and ready to go and is averaging 24.6 points per game after sitting out part of a back-to-back. Last time he did that, Walker logged a season-high 32 points against the Indiana Pacers.

The Celtics, however, will be without Tristan Thompson (healthy/safety protocols) once again. That will mean extra run for Robert Williams and Daniel Theis against the Kings, who have struggled to defend against big men this year. This could be another big game for Williams as a result.

This will also be a chance for Celtics fans to look at some potential trade targets for the team. Harrison Barnes' name has come up often for the team, but Buddy Hield bears watching as well. They may not end up being in-season options for the team, but if Danny Ainge waits to use the traded player exception until the offseason, they could be prime targets.

What if C's add Barnes at NBA trade deadline?
