The Boston Celtics would not have earned a thrilling comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night without a fantastic performance from star point guard Kemba Walker.
Walker wasn't the one only hero from Boston's 116-105 win -- Jayson Tatum played an important role, too -- but he poured in a game-high 32 points with six rebounds and six assists.
"He's a warrior," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said of Walker after the victory. "That's one thing you've always known, but you can really feel it in the huddles. The guy wants to win."
Walker scored 13 of his points in the fourth quarter as Boston pulled away from the Bucks. His best highlight of the final quarter came with just over three minutes left on the clock. Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo got switched onto Walker on a screen, and the Celtics guard made him look silly with a sweet step-back move.
The most impressive aspect of Walker's performance was his 15 free throw attempts. Getting the foul line was a major issue for Boston last season, and Walker has helped remedy that with his aggressiveness in attacking the rim. Walker hit 14 of his 15 attempts, and he's shooting 89 percent from the free throw line through four games.
"He's tough. He's fearless in the paint," Stevens said. "He's got an athletic ability that very few people talk about. He has the ability to just stop. He has the ability to decelerate and boom -- pop right up. Gets fouled a lot because of that."

Walker struggled a bit in his first two games with the Celtics, scoring a combined 34 points over that span. He's bounced back quite well, though, with a pair of 32-point performances in Boston's last two games. He's looking much more comfortable running the offense, and that's a very encouraging sign for the Celtics.
