Brad Stevens: ‘We aren't as good as everyone thinks we are'

It was an ugly loss for Brad Stevens and the Celtics, on his birthday, no less. The team shot terribly from the field, and missed two open looks to tie it in the last seconds of the game.

After the game, Stevens expressed his frustration with the team's play and the sky-high expectations they had coming into the year with NBC Sports Boston's Abby Chin.

The Celtics certainly haven't looked like the team fit to challenge the mighty Warriors early on this season. They're sitting at 2-2, and as Stevens said, there's a ton of room for improvement.

Gordon Hayward looked more comfortable in his third game of the season, but otherwise there weren't a lot of positive takeaways for the Celtics.

They have a chance to rebound on Thursday in Oklahoma City.
