One of the highlights of each NBA season is the Boston Celtics' "Seats for Soldiers" night.
Every year, the organization dedicates a game to the men and women of the United States armed forces.
The C's, season ticket holders, and corporate partners donate tickets to enlisted military personnel of all branches. Military bases from around the globe are teleconferenced into the arena as they watch the game from wherever they are stationed.

During the game, the Hero Among Us Award is given to a member of the armed forces in attendance. When the game is over, military servicemen and women get a chance to meet and shoot around with a Celtics player.
Staff Sgt. Matthew Noll of the United States Air Force National Guard surprised his family at TD Garden with his homecoming in 2017. He recently caught up with NBC Sports Boston's Abby Chin to explain what "Seats for Soldiers" night means to him.
"Another dream come true," he told Chin. "The Celtics, they're a class act every step of the way no matter what. Whenever I've communicated with them they've always surprised me. ...
"I love this team, I love this organization and again, thank you for making my dreams come true."
