Celtics' Enes Kanter wins WWE 24/7 title, loses it shortly after

In free agent addition Enes Kanter, the Celtics should expect to get a solid post-scorer, an active rebounder and a big personality both on and off the court.

Boston will also be getting a WWE champion.

On Monday night, Kanter, who had been practicing his wrestling craft throughout the summer, secured his first WWE 24/7 title at Madison Square Garden.

In the video below, you can see him wearing his Celtics jersey while getting heavily booed by the New York fans in attendance.

The catch of the 24/7 belt, is that it can be defended at any time, and any place as long as there is a WWE referee present. Shortly after Kanter won, WWE superstar R-Truth won the belt right back.

That has to be a heartbreaking moment for Kanter to hold his championship for just a few minutes. However, it probably wouldn't be in the Celtics best interest to worry about him having to hold a title defense in the middle of their locker room or someplace like that.
