Celtics, Hawks NBA 2K League teams had a very real postgame fight

The NBA isn't supposed to be a contact sport. The NBA 2K League definitely isn't supposed to be a contact sport.

Apparently no one told that to Crossover Gaming and Talon GC.

Those are the official NBA 2K League teams of the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks, respectively (yes, this is a thing), and they faced off Wednesday on opening day of the 2019 NBA 2K League season.

But as the squads lined up to shake hands after Talon GC defeated Crossover 68-58, two "players" exchanged a little shoulder bump.

Then things escalated quickly.

We're no NBA 2K League experts, but this has to be the first fight in league history.

In fact, the kerfuffle was so surprising that it caught video producers off-guard; the feed suddenly cut to a "Be Right Back" screen after a few seconds.

We would say we're also shocked a fight broke out at a video game event, but if you've ever thrown your controller after losing a game of 2K, you can probably relate.
