The Boston Celtics' pre-draft process accelerates in earnest this week.
The Celtics will host six players for a workout Monday at the Auerbach Center in Boston as part of their first session open to the media.
Here's the list of players in Boston on Monday:
Admiral Schofield, Tennessee
Jason Burnell, Jacksonville State
Jordan Bone, Tennessee
Milik Yarbrough, Illinois State
Oshae Brissett, Syracuse
Ty Jerome, Virginia
Jerome and Schofield are the notable names in this group. Jerome, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Virginia, averaged 13.6 points and shot 39.9 percent from 3-point range for the NCAA champion Cavaliers and is projected as a late first-round or early second-round pick.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound Schofield is expected to go later in the second round after averaging 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds for Tennessee last season.
Celtics director of player personnel Austin Ainge and each player will be available to the media after their workout, so we should get a sense for how they could fit in Boston.
The C's also will hold a workout Tuesday as they prep for the 2019 NBA Draft, where they have picks No. 14, 20, 22 and 51.
