The Boston Celtics are back in action Monday night against the Chicago Bulls, and one of their best players should return to the lineup.
All-Star guard Jaylen Brown missed Saturday night's thrilling win over the Golden State Warriors because of a non-COVID illness, but he's been upgraded to "available" on the new injury report ahead of the team's matchup versus the Bulls at TD Garden.
Here's the full injury report released by the Celtics on Monday afternoon:
- Jaylen Brown - AVAILABLE
- Evan Fournier (Health & Safety Protocols) - OUT
- Marcus Smart (illness, non-COVID) - QUESTIONABLE
- Jayson Tatum - AVAILABLE
- Kemba Walker (illness, non-COVID) - QUESTIONABLE
- Robert Williams (left knee soreness) - OUT
The Celtics have won six consecutive games and eight of their last nine. They've played the Bulls once already this season -- a 119-103 win in Chicago on Jan. 25. Brown led the C's with 26 points.
The Bulls snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night.
