Celtics injury report: Robert Williams, Daniel Theis out vs. Wizards

BOSTON -- The Celtics again will be thin in the frontcourt for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards.

Big men Robert Williams (sore right ankle) and Daniel Theis (sprained finger, right hand) are out for the C's at TD Garden, the team announced.

Guard Javonte Green is availabe despite a sore right hip.

Williams logged 17 minutes in the Celtics' 116-106 win over the Dallas Mavericks and wasn't listed on Boston's injury report Tuesday. It will be the second game Williams has missed this season.

Theis also has missed a game due to a sprained ankle early in the season and suffered a sprained finger Monday night against Dallas.

With Williams and Theis out, the Celtics will need to lean more on rookie Grant Williams and veteran Enes Kanter, who played just six minutes Monday in his return from a seven-game absence.

That frontcourt will try to prevent Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas from getting to the rim like he did so effectively during his tenure in Boston.
