The NBA season has been put on hold for at least 30 days due to the coronavirus crisis, meaning we may have to wait until mid-April at the earliest to watch the Boston Celtics again.

As a way to make up for the loss of Celtics action, we'll be using the NBA 2K20 video game to simulate each game on the schedule until they finally return.

PREVIOUS SIMULATIONS:

The Celtics were supposed to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday, March 18. Here's how our simulation of that game went:

CELTICS STATS

Kemba Walker was the star, tallying a game-high 35 points on 13-of-24 shooting (7-of-11 from 3-pt. range). The Knicks simply had no answer for the Celtics guard, and that's becoming a theme in these simulations. NBA 2K loves them some Kemba.

Just like in Sunday's Chicago Bulls simulation, the C's reserves got plenty of action as they were up by at least 20 for most of the contest. Brad Wanamaker was the leading scorer off the bench with 11 points.

KNICKS STATS

Not a whole lot to write home about here. R.J. Barrett and Elfrid Payton had 14 and 13 points respectively, both bringing down six boards. New York's offense struggled mightily throughout.

TEAM COMPARISON

Yeah, this one wasn't remotely close from the second quarter on. Just look at the differences in field goal percentages and rebounds, and that'll tell you all you need to know.

FINAL SCORE: Celtics 122, Knicks 87

That's two consecutive wins for the NBA 2K Celtics as they blew out the Bulls in our last sim. Stay tuned for Friday's simulation vs. the Toronto Raptors.
