The Boston Celtics fell to the Denver Nuggets in the final game of their West Coast road trip, 96-92.
As the C's fall to 11-4 on the season, the focus shifts completely to the health of Kemba Walker who was stretchered off the court in the second quarter.

1. Kemba Walker's injury is the real story, not the Celtics' loss.

As exciting of a game as it was, the end result was irrelevant as soon as Kemba Walker went down with a head injury in the second quarter and was taken off on a stretcher.

Walker was diagnosed with concussion-like symptoms and transported to the hospital for further evaluation. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported early indications are Walker did not suffer a significant injury, so that's certainly fantastic news.
Still, it was a scary moment that undoubtedly overshadowed the rest of the game.
2. C's going 2-3 on road trip is a disappointment.
Verdict: Overreaction
You could make a case that the Celtics' last two games vs the Nuggets and Clippers were their most impressive performances of the season thus far.
Sure, Boston came away with the loss in both games, but there's just no denying its resilience and ability to go toe-to-toe with anyone in the league.
Jayson Tatum's clutch shot to force OT in L.A., plus the Celtics' near-comeback Friday in Denver, are perfect examples of why this team simply cannot be counted out. This was a successful road trip regardless of what the record says.
3. A statement game by the C's bench.
Verdict: Not an overreaction
Brad Wanamaker was excellent again, tallying 14 points and four assists in an increased role with Walker out.
Robert Williams made his presence felt on the defensive end with four rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes.
Also making key contributions with limited playing time was Javonte Green, who added five points and two steals in only nine minutes.
The Celtics' depth is no joke.
