Celtics rookie Romeo Langford throws out first pitch at Portland Sea Dogs game

The Portland Sea Dogs had a special guest for Tuesday night's game at Hadlock Field.

Boston Celtics rookie Romeo Langford was in the house to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The C's first-round pick's toss sailed just a bit outside, but it could've been much worse.

Watch below:

At least the Celtics won't have to worry about Langford leaving to pursue a baseball career.

Langford is part of an exciting young core in Boston and already has built a rapport with fellow C's rookies Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards, and Tremont Waters this summer. It'll be fun to see how he and the rest of the young guns fit in on an intriguing team that's approaching the 2019-20 campaign with cautious optimism.
