The Boston Celtics family and the basketball world as a whole lost a legend Monday when Tommy Heinsohn died at the age of 86.
Heinsohn represented the Celtics in so many ways. He won eight championships as a player, two more as Boston's head coach and then transitioned to a nearly four-decade career as a broadcaster for Celtics games.
He's one of four people to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach. Heinsohn was involved with the Celtics in some form or another for 64 years.
