Celtics Talk Podcast: A Tribute to Tommy Heinsohn

Share

The Boston Celtics family and the basketball world as a whole lost a legend Monday when Tommy Heinsohn died at the age of 86.

Heinsohn represented the Celtics in so many ways. He won eight championships as a player, two more as Boston's head coach and then transitioned to a nearly four-decade career as a broadcaster for Celtics games.

He's one of four people to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach. Heinsohn was involved with the Celtics in some form or another for 64 years.

In a special episode of the Celtics Talk Podcast, Heinsohn's friends and colleagues, former Celtics players, team owner Wyc Grousbeck and others share stories about the Celtics legend and describe his incredible impact on the franchise.
