The Boston Celtics resume 2021 NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.
After an exciting win over the Atlanta Hawks to begin Summer League play on Sunday afternoon, there will be plenty of focus on Yam Madar -- Boston's second-round draft pick in 2020. He scored eight points (on 4-for-6 shooting) with two rebounds, two assists and one turnover in 17 minutes.
Romeo Langford, however, was the hero in crunch time. His 3-point shot that put the Celtics up 83-81 with 11.1 seconds left was the biggest moment in the game. He scored 12 points with six rebounds and four assists in the victory. Langford, who's finally healthy after battling injury throughout his first two pro seasons, could play an important bench role for the Celtics this upcoming season.
Summer League games give these young players valuable experience and a chance to show their skills to the Celtics coaching staff ahead of training camp.
Celtics vs. Nuggets tips off at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday in Las Vegas, and you can follow the action on NBC Sports Boston. Here's how to watch:
