C's one win from conference finals after dominant Game 5 vs. Raptors

FINAL SCORE: Boston Celtics 111, Toronto Raptors 89

IN BRIEF: The Celtics are just one win away from their third Eastern Conference finals appearance in the last four years.

After dropping the last two games of their conference semifinals matchup in disappointing fashion, the C's bounced back Monday night in Game 5 with a dominant win over the Raptors to take a 3-2 series lead.

Defense was key for the Celtics, especially early on as they held the Raptors to a franchise low 11 points in the first quarter and led 62-35 at halftime. The C's also shot the ball far better compared to the previous two games. Boston converted on 49.4 percent (38-of-77) of its shot attempts.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting. Kemba Walker also chipped in 21 points. The C's had six players score in double figures -- all five starters plus Brad Wanamaker. Fred VanVleet scored a team-high 18 points for the Raptors. He was one of only two Toronto players to score more than 10 points.
