C's offense sputters without Jaylen Brown in road loss to Suns

The Celtics didn't let Devin Booker torch them this time around, but their offense couldn't pull its own weight without star guard Jaylen Brown.

The Celtics suffered a 100-91 loss to the Suns at Phoenix Suns Arena, falling to 2-2 on their West Coast road trip and 12-10 on the season.

Jayson Tatum led Boston with 23 points, while Kemba Walker added 14 on 4-of-20 shooting and Payton Pritchard and Daniel Theis each contributed 12 points off the bench.

The Suns put five players in double figures, with Mikal Bridges scoring a team-high 19 points and Booker (18 points and 11 assists) and DeAndre Ayton (16 points and 11 rebounds) both notching double-doubles to hand the C's their first loss on Super Bowl Sunday in the last five years.
