Chris Bosh reveals how Kevin Garnett's trash talk made him lose sleep

Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett is one of the most notorious trash talkers in NBA history, and Chris Bosh found out the hard way.

The former Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat star shared a great story on a recent episode of the "Bill Simmons Podcast" of a time when KG made him lose sleep after a bout of trash talk during an NBA game.

“He called me a momma’s boy,’ Bosh told Simmons. “We joked and laughed about it a few months ago. He got me, too. It was true. It was true. He called me a momma’s boy. I forgot what he said to me and I said something back. He said, ‘Man, you a momma’s boy.’ I was like ‘Whoa.’ I had the worst game of my career after that.”

“I couldn’t sleep. I was up just late at night like, ‘What is that supposed to mean? A momma’s boy? Who is he talking about?' It’s 4 a.m., you know, I gotta be up in a couple hours. ... Oh, he was all in (my head)! All in there."

Bosh and Garnett had many battles in the playoffs when the Heat and Celtics met in back-to-back postseasons after LeBron James took his talents to South Beach. Miami and Bosh got the best of Boston in the 2011 conference semifinals and 2012 conference finals, and Celtics fans would love to forget the clutch 3-point shots Bosh hit late in Game 7 of the 2012 series.

It was a great rivalry, and Garnett's trash talk certainly took it to another level emotionally.
