Did Terry Rozier try to recuit Zion Williamson to Puma after shoe mishap in Duke-UNC?

The hype surrounding the much-anticipated Duke vs. North Carolina college basketball game Wednesday reached extreme levels when tickets were selling for Super Bowl-level prices and celebrities including Barack Obama and Ken Griffey Jr. showed up to Cameron Indoor.

The fun didn't last, however, as Duke star and top 2019 NBA Draft prospect Zion Williamson blew through his shoe and left the game early in the first half with an apparent injury.

Duke later tweeted that Williamson wouldn't return to Wednesday's game.

Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier used Williamson's shoe incident as an opportunity to recruit the promising forward to join Puma. Rozier is one of several NBA players signed to Puma.

About a half-hour after his original tweet, Rozier expressed concern for the Blue Devils superstar.

Rozier wasn't the only NBA player to express concern over Williamson. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, who was in attendance at one of Duke's games last week, also weighed in.

Williamson is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and two of his Duke teammates, Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett, also could go in the top five.
