You know the maxim, "Don't just point out problems; offer solutions"?
Danny Ainge is taking that to heart.
The Boston Celtics' president of basketball operations voiced what might be an unpopular opinion Thursday by admitting he doesn't like Robert Williams' "Time Lord" nickname.
Ainge insisted "we can do better" but didn't suggest another nickname for the rookie big man -- until Thursday afternoon on Twitter.

This isn't terrible; after all, Williams is pretty adept at catching lob passes and has 10 dunks through 11 games.

But Twitter wasn't having Ainge's attempt to run the clock out on "Time Lord." (For the record, Williams also doesn't like being called "Bob," which sounds a lot like "Lob.")
He is the Timelord Danny. Resistance is futile.— Jesse Hlava (@jessehlava) December 13, 2018

Danny I love you but you gotta get with the times(lord)— Xanny DeVito (@trevorstweetss) December 13, 2018
Timelord will only grow stronger because of this. Thank you Danny . Your work is complete. Timelord forever.— Atsmash (@andterry) December 13, 2018
Danny obviously has considerable sway, but it appears the people have spoken.
