Donovan Mitchell makes young Celtics fan's night in cool pregame moment

NBA players usually don't seek out fans of the other team, and vice versa. But Donovan Mitchell made a pretty great exception Saturday night.

The Utah Jazz guard was preparing for his game against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden when he spotted a young kid wearing his high school jersey. (Mitchell attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire.)

Mitchell thought that was pretty cool, so he went over to the young fan and asked him to assist in his pregame warmup routine.

Mitchell even signed the kid's jersey and posed for a picture with him on the court.

Based on his get-up, the young kid still supports the Celtics, but we can't blame for being a fan of Mitchell, who along with Jayson Tatum was an NBA Rookie of the Year finalist last season.
