The 2022 NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 20 in Cleveland, and the league revealed the first batch of fan voting results Thursday.
There weren't too many surprises, but few people would have predicted before the season started that Chicago Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan would lead all Eastern Conference guards in voting at this stage. It's well-deserved, though, as DeRozan is having a career season and ranks fourth in scoring at 26.9 points per game.
The Boston Celtics have one player in the top 10 at his position in the early fan voting returns. Jayson Tatum is fourth among East forwards with 643,970 votes. Tatum has been selected to the last two All-Star Games.

Celtics star Jaylen Brown, who made his first career All-Star appearance last season, is not among the top 10 East guards in the voting so far. Brown is averaging 24.5 points per game.
Here's the first batch of voting results for Eastern Conference players, as announced by the league. The next voting update will be unveiled Jan. 13.
