Memorial Day weekend 2021 will be a busy one for Boston sports fans as the Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox are all in action.

The Boston Celtics will welcome the Brooklyn Nets’ Big 3 to TD Garden on Friday night. The Nets won the first two games in Brooklyn to take a 2-0 series lead but that might change when Kyrie Irving returns to Boston for Games 3 and 4.

If the Celtics pull off the tough task of taking down the Nets, one series Boston fans may want to take a look at is the Milwaukee Bucks vs. the Miami Heat. The Bucks have taken a commanding 3-0 lead and are on their way to a possible sweep over Miami. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have been extremely dominant on both ends of the court, and while Game 1 went to overtime, Milwaukee won the last two games by a margin of 34 and 29 points, respectively.

The Celtics will have a tough road ahead if they plan to meet this Milwaukee team in the future.

Another thrilling Eastern Conference matchup is the series between the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks. Heck, it might be the most entertaining series of the playoffs. Games 1 and 2 featured back-and-forth affairs both on and off the court. Trae Young and the Hawks now head home to State Farm Arena Friday night after a thrilling first two games at Madison Square Garden. After Young silenced the roaring New York crowd of 15,000 fans with a last-second dagger in Game 1, the Knicks rallied back to win Game 2 Wednesday night behind a 26-point performance from Derrick Rose.
