Kemba Walker was back in action for the Boston Celtics in their Sunday scrimmage vs. the Phoenix Suns.
The C's All-Star guard has been taking it easy in practice as he's been dealing with a bothersome left knee, but he looked like himself on Sunday.
Walker didn't hesitate to attack the basket right away in Boston's 117-103 victory. Although he was limited to nine minutes of action, Walker contributed six points and most importantly looked healthy when he was on the court.
“[Walker] was great, yeah. Nine to 10 minutes was kind of the time we had for him to play," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said after the scrimmage. "Like we said, he’s going to be on a minutes restriction when we start playing the seeding games. But I thought he looked good, I thought he had his burst, I thought he played hard, defensively. He created chaos on a couple of different plays. Offensively, I thought he got to the rim and or got his shot. So, encouraged by it.”

Jaylen Brown (21 points), Gordon Hayward (17), and Jayson Tatum (16) were the stars of the scrimmage for the C's. Marcus Smart dropped 10 of his own while going a perfect 5-for-5 from the field.
The Celtics have one more scrimmage on Tuesday vs. the Houston Rockets, then they'll prepare to take on the Milwaukee Bucks for their first official game of the NBA restart on Friday.
