Nets' reported blockbuster for Harden leaves NBA Twitter stunned

Meet the new Eastern Conference.

The Rockets are trading superstar James Harden to the Nets as part of a massive deal that involves four teams and also will send Pacers star Victor Oladipo to Houston and Brooklyn's Caris LeVert to Indiana, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

Here's the full trade, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Harden finally gets his ticket out of Houston and teams up with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn, where Steve Nash's team has stumbled to a 6-6 start amid some off-court drama.

Needless to say, the blockbuster sent shockwaves through the NBA Twittersphere.

The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers reportedly were in the mix to land Harden, but it appears the three-time scoring champion sought a reunion with his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate in Durant.

While the Nets now have three of the most talented scorers in basketball, some are a little skeptical that Durant, Harden and Irving can co-exist.

Others questioned Brooklyn's decision to part with three first-round picks and four pick swaps less than 10 years after Billy King's disastrous trade for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in 2013.

The bottom line? Get your popcorn ready, because the Nets are going to be must-see TV whether they succeed or fail.
