The Boston Celtics will be without Jaylen Brown when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden on Wednesday night.

Brown will miss the playoff rematch with an illness, the team announced. Also missing from the game for Boston will be big man Enes Kanter (left knee contusion).

On the plus side, Daniel Theis (left ankle sprain) will be available.

What's sure to be the Celtics' toughest test so far just got even tougher as they'll be shorthanded vs. the Eastern Conference favorites, led by 2019 NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Both the C's and Bucks are off to 2-1 starts to their 2019-20 campaigns. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston, with Celtics Pregame Live at 6:30 p.m. ET. and Celtics Postgame Live immediately after the game.
