Brown has emerged as one of the most improved second-year players in the NBA.

“I just come out and get better each and every year,” Brown said. “Some people think this, some people think that. I’m just going to keep getting better.”

Brown is second on the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game.

As for Tatum who was selected by the Celtics with the No. 3 pick in last June’s NBA draft, he has emerged as one of the top rookies in the NBA this season. He’s averaging 13.5 points per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and a league-best 44.9 percent from 3-point range.
