Jaylen Brown signs jersey for teammate's nephew after career game

Other than the Boston Celtics themselves, the nephew of one of Jaylen Brown's teammates is who seems to have benefitted the most from his career night against the Orlando Magic.

After Brown scored a career-high 50 points with 11 rebounds, becoming just the fourth Celtic ever to have a 50-point double-double in the process, Dennis Schroder decided it was time that his nephew collect some memorabilia of his favorite player.

Celtics-Magic takeaways: Jaylen carries C's in OT win

"That's his favorite player," Schroder said. "He got 50 today, so I thought it's a good time to let him sign it."

Schroder's nephew will receive one of the Celtics' alternate uniforms, in which black is the base color with green trim and white letters and numbers. In the win over the Magic, Boston went with its traditional home greens.

Without the help of his uncle, Schroder's nephew may still be waiting for a Brown jersey. Schroder, one of just three Celtics in double figures on the night other than Brown, scored the first five points of overtime for the Celtics before icing the game with three free throws later on in the extra session, scoring eight of his 21 points in the five-minute period.
