Kendrick Perkins was very critical of Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving after the C's lost Game 4 of their second-round NBA playoff series to the Milwaukee Bucks at home.
Irving played poorly and the Bucks won, which pushed the Celtics to the brink of elimination. Perkins tweeted a few criticisms of his former team, including Irving's play, specfically noting he's not a "Batman," also known as a No. 1 option on a championship team.
If you thought that was harsh, Perkins' latest critique of Irving after the Celtics were eliminated with a Game 5 loss in Milwaukee on Wednesday night was even more scathing. The retired NBA center went on FOX Sports 1 show "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" on Thursday and called out Irving for being disrespectful to the City of Boston.

Whether you agree with Perkins, what's not debatable is Irving played poorly in this second-round series. He was very good in Game 1, but the veteran guard shot 30.1 percent from the floor over the final four games of the series. He scored just 15 points on 6-for-21 shooting (1-for-7 from 3-point range) in the Game 5 clincher.

Irving is able to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and after a painful end to the 2018-19 campaign (along with the abundance of criticism that's come with it), it's fair to wonder if he'll be seeking a new environment for next season.
