Kyrie Irving gifts WNBA star Sue Bird a pair of Kyrie 5 sneakers

Thanks to Kyrie Irving, WNBA star Sue Bird can add another pair of sneakers to her collection.

Irving gifted a pair of Kyrie 5s to Bird with a message that read, "Keep Sue Fresh."

Check Bird's new kicks out below:

A great gesture from Kyrie that undoubtedly brightened up what's been a tough offseason for Bird. The Seattle Storm guard will miss most if not all of the 2019 season with a knee injury.

As for Irving, all eyes will be on him once NBA free agency begins June 30.

Report: Celtics first-rounder Langford not cleared for summer league practice after thumb surgery

Report: Celtics first-rounder Langford not cleared for summer league practice after thumb surgery

Celtics first-round draft pick Romeo Langford's availability for summer league remains in question as he continues to recover from surgery on his right thumb.

Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe reports that Langford, the 14th overall pick, has yet to be cleared for full participation in practice.

The Celtics begin summer league play July 6 in Las Vegas against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Langford, played through the torn ligaments in the thumb this season at Indiana (a contributing factor to his 27 percent shooting on 3-pointers). He didn't work out for teams leading up to draft after the surgery and, on doctor's orders, only began dribbling and shooting about two weeks ago.

Aron Baynes bids farewell to Boston in Instagram post

Aron Baynes bids farewell to Boston in Instagram post

As the Aron Baynes era in Boston comes to an end, the big man has a message for the city he's called home for the last two years.

Baynes, who was traded to the Phoenix Suns during the 2019 NBA Draft, posted a simple yet thoughtful message to his Instagram on Wednesday.

"Loved my time in Boston," he wrote. "Appreciate all the messages, support and kind words."

Baynes averaged 5.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in his two seasons with the Celtics. With the 6-foot-10 Australian gone and veteran big man Al Horford reportedly planning to leave in free agency, the C's are left searching for rim protectors to fill the void.

As for what the Celtics got from the Suns in the deal for Baynes, they acquired Milwaukee's first-round pick in next year's draft.
