Kyrie Irving upgraded to questionable for Tuesday

BOSTON – Kyrie Irving has been upgraded to questionable for the Celtics' Tuesday night game against the Nets and traveled with the team to Brooklyn.

Irving did not play in Boston’s 95-94 win over Toronto on Sunday after suffering a facial fracture in the victory over Charlotte on Friday.

The four-time All-Star was hit with an inadvertent elbow from teammate Aron Baynes and did not return after the injury occurred less than two minutes into the game.

If he plays Tuesday, he will be back in the starting lineup.

Irving leads the Celtics in scoring (20.3 points), assists (5.2) and steals (1.9) per game.
