Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving will be the latest player in the team's storied history to represent it at the NBA All-Star Game this weekend in Charlotte.
The Celtics have not hosted an All-Star Game since 1964, but many of their players have performed at a very high level in these matchups. Seven different Celtics have won All-Star Game MVP, including Bill Russell and Larry Bird. Multiple Celtics players also have won the Slam Dunk Contest and 3-Point Shootout during All-Star Saturday's events.
