The best basketball player in the world is back.
LeBron James will return to the Los Angeles Lakers lineup against the Boston Celtics Friday night.
James had missed the previous two weeks of action while dealing with an abdominal strain. He’s played in just six of the Lakers’ 16 games this season and hasn’t appeared in a game since Los Angeles’ 119-117 win over the Houston Rockets on Nov. 2.
Anthony Davis is also listed as probable to play against Boston after dealing with a right-thigh contusion suffered during the Lakers’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday.
Both superstars might give Los Angeles a much-needed boost against a Celtics team that has struggled at points so far this season.
