LOS ANGELES — Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris said he splurged on front-row seats to Friday’s Clippers-Thunder game at Staples Center so he can watch his twin brother, Markieff, in a regular-season game for the first time.
Marcus Morris watched his brother play against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals two years ago but believes this is the first time either of the brothers has been able to watch the other during a regular-season game when they’ve been on different teams.
"It’s crazy, man. It’s crazy,” said Marcus Morris. "It’s something that I don’t think ever happened since I’ve been in this league. We’re gonna take advantage of it, I’m going go watch the Clippers game. I got front-row seats, so I’m doing it big, and watch my brother play.
"A little expensive, too, you know what I’m saying? He’s worth it though. Because you never know if this will happen again, you know what I’m saying? It’s good to spend some time together, kick it.”

"’ll probably watch it as a brother,” said Marcus Morris. "I know what the Clippers are capable of. I know the guys on that team. They came back and they beat us at our home, so we definitely owe them one. We know what we’re capable of doing to them. If we don’t slack and take our foot off the gas, we can probably beat them by 30 in Boston. We’ll try and do that again.”
