Marcus Morris comments on brother, Markieff, signing with Thunder

Marcus Morris once called on the Boston Celtics to sign his twin brother, Markieff. Marcus tweeted about his brother after Markieff was bought out by the New Orleans Pelicans. But, as expected, the Celtics didn't pursue Morris' twin.

Instead, Markieff ended up with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Marcus thinks his brother will be a good fit there and offered this analysis of his brother's decision, via The Athletic's Jay King:

Marcus is right that Markieff will certainly have a chance to improve the Thunder rotation. If he can come back healthy after dealing with a neck injury for most of the season, the sky is the limit for the three-point ace.

It's also unsurprising that Markieff didn't come to the Celtics. The team simply has too many talented players and already has had trouble getting them all minutes. The team is better served to roll with what they have to avoid creating more chemistry issues, especially given that chemistry and changing roles in the rotation have been part of their problems this season.
