At last, Marcus Smart is set to return to the Boston Celtics lineup.

After missing the last 18 games with a left calf tear, Smart isn't listed on the Celtics' injury report heading into Thursday night's matchup vs. the Brooklyn Nets. The positive update comes shortly after head coach Brad Stevens said the C's guard was close to being cleared.

Celtics could land these NBA trade targets at a more modest price

The only player listed on Wednesday's injury report is second-year swingman Romeo Langford due to health and safety protocols. Stevens had said Langford's return would be "right around the corner."

Smart's return would come at an ideal time for Boston as it will take on a red-hot, star-studded Nets team in the first game of the second half. Tip-off for the matchup is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with Celtics Pregame Live at 6:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Boston.
