The 2019 NBA free agent class is loaded with elite stars who will change the balance of power in the league for many years.

The 2020 class isn't shaping up to be quite as strong, but there are still several really good players who teams will covet if they hit the open market.

Let's take an early look at the top players who could be unrestricted free agents in 2020.

Montrezl Harrell played a meaningful role off the Clippers' bench last season, scoring 16.6 points and grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game. He's a very good interior defender and works as hard as anyone on the boards.

PLAYER OPTION

Porter was not worth the four-year, $106 million contract the Washington Wizards gave him a few years ago, but he's still a productive player who could add much-needed scoring and wing depth off the bench. He averaged 13.9 points and shot a solid 37 percent from 3-point range between the Wizards and Bulls last season. Porter is only 26 years old and should still have several quality seasons ahead of him.

Serge Ibaka could fill a starting or sixth man role after averaging 15 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for the Toronto Raptors this past season, while also playing a key role in their first NBA championship. His 3-point shooting (29 percent) was the worst of his career, so that certainly is a concern, but his strong two-way game (including the versatility to defend multiple positions) should still make him one of the most coveted players available.

PLAYER OPTION

DeRozan is one of the most consistent scorers in the league with six consecutive seasons of 20-plus points per game. He's a very poor 3-point shooter, however, and he isn't a lockdown defender on the perimeter. DeRozan isn't a No. 1 or No. 2 option on a title contender, but he could be enough to help a team on the cusp of the playoffs earn a postseason berth.

Eric Gordon is another player who can start or excel in a sixth-man role. He's a reliable 3-point shooter and a strong bet to score between 16 and 18 points per game. The 30-year-old veteran would be a great addition for a contender in need of shooting and/or a scoring punch off the bench. Gordon also has 43 games of playoff experience on his résumé.

Hayward's first season back from missing nearly all of 2017-18 with a broken leg was a roller-coaster. The veteran forward showed flashes of the All-Star scorer he was before the injury, but the consistency just wasn't there. He scored 11.3 points per game and shot a disappointing 33.3 percent on 3-point attempts. It's hard to imagine Hayward, at least right now, declining his 2020-21 player option worth more than $34 million, but maybe he would if he bounces back with an excellent 2019-20 campaign.

PLAYER OPTION

Andre Drummond led the league with 15.6 rebounds per game last season, in addition to scoring 17.3 points per contest. He also blocked nearly two shots per game and has shown impressive improvement at the free throw line in each of the last two seasons. Drummond isn't going to stretch the floor as a 3-point threat, but few centers are tougher to guard in the low post. He has a player option for almost $29 million for 2020-21.

EARLY-TERMINATION OPTION

Mike Conley is a very good point guard who averaged 21.1 points and 6.4 assists despite playing on a bad Memphis Grizzlies team in 2018-19. He reportedly was traded to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, where he should get a chance to shine on one of the top contenders in the Western Conference. It's hard to imagine Conley turning down his 2020-21 option worth about $34.5 million, but it's possible if he's confident a long-term deal is in the cards. He'll be 32 years old next summer, so that might be the last opportunity for him to get a lucrative long-term contract.

Draymond Green is one of the best defensive players of his era, and he's also one of the most versatile players in the league with his ability to defend both forward spots and center. Green is a tremendous rebounder, too, and he's been a double-double machine for the Warriors throughout his career. And we can't forget the three championships and five NBA Finals appearances worth of playoff experiences he has under his belt. Green could be expendable in Golden State depending on if the team extends Kevin Durant and/or Klay Thompson this summer. You can bet Green will have plenty of potential suitors if he ever hits the open market.

PLAYER OPTION

Anthony Davis seems like a sure bet to re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers after his reported trade from the New Orleans Pelicans, but stranger things have happened. It wouldn't be surprising if Davis declined his player option for 2020-21 worth almost $29 million so he can sign a long-term deal for more money. If Davis did hit free agency, he would be one of the most sought after UFAs of all-time given his status as a top-five player still in the middle of his prime.
