Outside of the veteran trio of Paul, Conley and Lowry, he may be the most surefire lead guard option on the market with a proven track record of two-way production.

Oladipo spent time with three teams during the 2020-21 season, first being dealt from the Pacers to the Rockets as part of the Harden trade, then from the Rockets to the Heat as a flier at the deadline following a rocky stretch in Houston.

Since making consecutive All-Star teams in 2018 and 2019, Oladipo has been injury-riddled; he played just four games with the Heat before suffering a knee injury, then eventually had season-ending right quad surgery — an operation which could also cause him to miss significant time next season. While he carries the specter of star reputation, Oladipo must prove he can re-find his past form moving forward.

The 32-year-old averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 assists and shot 41.1 percent from 3-point range for New York, who finished the regular season 24-11 with him in the lineup and transformed into a legitimate playoff team after his arrival. Rose is clearly still capable of commanding offense and impacting winning at this stage.
