We don't know when the Boston Celtics will play next, but it won't be Tuesday night.

The Celtics' game against the Bulls in Chicago on Tuesday has been postponed due to health and safety protocols, the NBA announced.

The league also called off Monday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans a day after postponing the Celtics' home game against the Miami Heat.

The Celtics had just eight players available for Sunday's game before it was postponed. Star forward Jayson Tatum reportedly has tested positive for COVID-19, and several C's were ruled out for the contest s the team conducted contact tracing.

The Celtics-Heat game technically was postponed because Miami didn't have the minimum of eight players available. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Boston now doesn't meet the eight-player minimum, meaning at least one additional Celtics player has been ruled out since Sunday.

As COVID-19 cases rise, the NBA will meet with the NBA Players' Association on Monday to discuss modifying the league's health and safety protocols. NBA general managers also will discuss COVID-19-related issues Monday on a conference call, according to Wojnarowski.
