The league also called off Monday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans a day after postponing the Celtics' home game against the Miami Heat.

The Celtics-Heat game technically was postponed because Miami didn't have the minimum of eight players available. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Boston now doesn't meet the eight-player minimum, meaning at least one additional Celtics player has been ruled out since Sunday.
As COVID-19 cases rise, the NBA will meet with the NBA Players' Association on Monday to discuss modifying the league's health and safety protocols. NBA general managers also will discuss COVID-19-related issues Monday on a conference call, according to Wojnarowski.
