Celtics sign Garrison Mathews to one-year, non-guaranteed contract


The Boston Celtics have been busy adding players to their training camp roster.

The C's have agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with free agent guard Garrison Mathews, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Friday morning.

Mathews played in 64 games for the Wizards last season. He averaged 5.5 points and 1.4 assists in 16.2 minutes per game. He also shot 38.4 percent from 3-point range and 88.4 percent from the free throw line.
