The Boston Celtics are bringing in some frontcourt reinforcements.

The Celtics are signing power forward Juwan Morgan of the G League's Maine Celtics to a 10-day contract, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Monday.

Morgan signed with Boston at the beginning of the 2021-22 season and joined the Toronto Raptors on a 10-day contract in late December before returning to the Celtics organization on Jan. 1. The 6-foot-7, 232-pound forward is averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 19 games for Maine this season.

Morgan's addition comes after the Celtics lost Robert Williams to a left knee sprain in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The severity of Williams' injury is unclear, but head coach Ime Udoka confirmed the big man wouldn't travel to Toronto for Boston's matchup with the Raptors on Monday.

The Celtics also won't have Al Horford in Toronto, as the veteran forward is dealing with a "personal matter."

Boston likely will lean on Daniel Theis and Grant Williams in the absence of Horford and Robert Williams, but Morgan gives the club a bit more frontcourt depth and also has familiarity with the Raptors.
