The Boston Celtics did not have a first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, but they did add two more players over the last 24 hours.

The C's selected shooting guard Juhann Begarin in the second round at No. 45 overall. It was their only pick of the draft.

They've also made their first move with an undrafted player. Boston has agreed to sign Sam Hauser to a two-way contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Hauser averaged 16 points and 6.8 assists per game, while shooting 89.6 percent from the free throw line and 41.7 percent from 3-point range for Virginia during the 2020-21 season. He played three years at Marquette before finishing his collegiate career with Virginia.

The Miami Heat also were a potential landing spot for Hauser, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Hauser could feature on the Celtics' roster at the upcoming NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Boston's first summer league game is Aug. 8 against the Atlanta Hawks.
