Could the Brooklyn Nets add a third superstar to their starting five this offseason?

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the idea of joining Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant "is resonating" with Houston Rockets guard James Harden.

Nets fans shouldn't get their hopes up just yet, however. Wojnarowski notes the Rockets don't currently plan on moving the 2018 MVP and haven't had trade discussions with Brooklyn.

Harden's reported interest in a trade comes in the wake of teammate Russell Westbrook wanting out of Houston. While the potential deal is intriguing, it's hard to imagine the Rockets parting ways with both of their All-Stars. Plus, the Nets would have to ship several players -- likely Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, and additional assets -- in any trade.

Teams can begin to make trades as early as Monday at 12 p.m. ET, so it's time to gear up for what should be a busy NBA offseason.
