Add Yam Madar to the list of recent Boston Celtics draft picks worth watching at the 2021 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Madar, the Celtics' 47th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, is headed to Boston for workouts and is expected to play in the Summer League next month, according to international basketball reporter Moshe Barda.

The 20-year-old Israel native spent the 2020-21 season playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Basketball Premier League as a "draft-and-stash" player for Boston.

Forsberg: Here's what's on Brad Stevens' summer to-do list

Madar made the most of his time overseas: He averaged 17.1 points and 5.2 assists over 30 games for Hapoel Tel Aviv last season and shot 40.9% from 3-point range to become the youngest player in the league's history to win Most Improved Player.

Check out some of Madar's highlights below:

At 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Madar may need to put on a few pounds, and it will be interesting to see how he fares against NBA-level competition this summer. But the point guard is a dynamic scorer with a silky jumper who's worth keeping tabs on in Las Vegas.

The Summer League, which begins Aug. 8, will be important for several Celtics players who need to prove themselves to new head coach Ime Udoka. If recent draft picks Grant Williams, Romeo Langford, Payton Pritchard and Aaron Nesmith have a strong summer, perhaps they can carve out a role on Boston's second unit or become legitimate trade chips for new president of basketball operations Brad Stevens.
