Ray Allen hits the links on Paul Pierce Day

Two-thirds of the Celtics' Big Three, and their coach, were at TD Garden for the number retirement ceremony of Paul Pierce on Sunday.

The third member of the trio, Ray Allen, appeared to be on the golf course with comedian George Lopez, according to this Instagram post.

Pierce, of course, was at the Celtics-Cavs game, and his No. 34 will be raised to the rafters after the game. Seated near Pierce was Kevin Garnett, who with Allen formed the troika that led Boston to its 17th NBA title in 2008. Next to Garnett was ex-Celtics coach Doc Rivers, now coach of the L.A. Clippers, and ex-C's point guard and Pierce teammate Rajon Rondo, now with the New Orleans Pelicans.

They got a big hand, along with ex-C's center Robert Parish, from the TD Garden crowd when they were introduced.

Teammates under Rivers on Boston's 2008 champs, Allen had a falling out with Pierce, Garnett and Rondo after he left the Celtics to join the Miami Heat in free agency. Things supposedly had been patched up, as Allen discussed last month on NBC Sports Boston's Celtics Talk Podcast.
