Is it summer yet?
The weather is getting nicer AND the NBA free agency rumors are heating up.
About an hour after a report from ESPN's Brian Windhorst about the door to a LeBron-Kyrie reunion with the Lakers being open and Irving having discussions about playing for L.A., came a tweet from Windhorst's ESPN's colleague, Stephen A. Smith, which puts Irving's free agency destination about 3,000 miles away from Los Angeles.
According to Smith, the oft-rumored Kyrie-KD coupling with the Knicks is a 95% certainty.
Yes. From everything I’ve heard, KD and Kyrie are planning on coming to New York. 95% Chance they say! Only potential hiccup is KD changing his mind pic.twitter.com/9ezL7IEc3y— Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) May 11, 2019
The coast-to-coast rumors are likely to continue until July 1 when Irving, Durant and other NBA free agents can make their commitments public. Until then, as in Stephen A's tweet above, the Photoshoppers will likely be working overtime.
