When we last checked in with Paul George, he was casually floating around the idea of coming to Boston in a segment on his multi-part SportsCenter special.
But there doesn't appear to be much depth to that idea. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, PG-13 is staying in Oklahoma City, for big money:
Paul George has committed to sign a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources tell ESPN.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) July 1, 2018

Paul George told the Thunder he was staying “early” so they could set everything up, per sources. In other words, they’ve been operating like he was staying for a bit now.— Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) July 1, 2018
I’m being told Paul George is on stage with Russell Westbrook at the party. “I’m here to stay,” George said. “We can bring it home.”— Royce Young (@royceyoung) July 1, 2018
"I know who I am as a player, I just want to help a team win," George, the five-time All-Star, had previously told ESPN in his special. "And I feel comfortable doing so with Russ[ell Westbrook]. And then there's other places too, you know, from Boston, to Clippers..."
