The Boston Celtics just completed a six-game road trip during which they earned a 4-2 record and beat some very talented teams and several of the top 15 players in the world.
And yet, that wasn't good enough for former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Richard Jefferson. Not even close, actually.

Jefferson said Wednesday on ESPN afternoon show "NBA Today" that the Celtics' recent road trip was "terrible"
"When I look at the Boston Celtics, yes, the Celtics are a great team, they are good, but if you're going to have the highest of standards, this was a terrible road trip for them," Jefferson said. "4-2 can be a bad road trip for a great team."
Wow, where do we even begin?
Well, that's not necessary, because Jefferson's ESPN colleague, Zach Lowe, did a masterful job explaining why Boston's recent six-game road trip was quite impressive.

A 4-2 road trip with wins over the Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers -- four likely playoff teams -- isn't too bad at all. And we can't forget that Al Horford didn't play in the last five games of the trip and Robert Williams still hasn't made his season debut.
The schedule does get a little easier for the Celtics over the next two weeks as they begin a six-game homestand Friday night against the Orlando Magic.
