Suns eclipse Celtics, hands Boston second straight loss

BOSTON -- Here are the Stars, Studs and Duds from Boston’s 111-103 loss to Phoenix.

STARS

Devin Booker: He didn’t light up the Boston Celtics like he has done in past years, but there was no mistaking his impact scoring the ball. He led the Suns with 25 points  

Kyle Irving: It was another one of those highly efficient scoring nights for Kyrie Irving. He finished with 29 points and 10 assists for his fifth double-double this season.

DeAndre Ayton: The Celtics had problems all game with Deandre Ayton around the basket as he finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds for his 19th double-double this season. 

STUDS

Jayson Tatum: Short-handed in the frontcourt, Jayson Tatum came up with a solid night offensively and on the glass, tallying 18 points to go with eight rebounds.

Kelly Oubre Jr.: Recently acquired via trade from Washington, Kelly Oubre Jr. had a slew of clutch shots before finishing with 13 points and six rebounds.

Robert Williams III: Seeing more time due to Aron Baynes’ hand injury, Robert Williams III had a near double-double with eight points and eight rebounds.

DUDS

Celtics rebounding: The Suns absolutely owned Boston on the boards as they out-rebounded Boston 56-37.
